Did You Know?
MyPlate, developed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is a powerful visual reminder to choose healthier foods from among the food groups.
As a part of LMCTC Goal II: MyPlate, Your Place, local elected officials commit to prominently displaying MyPlate in all municipally- or county-owned or operated venues where food is served. The USDA has FREE MyPlate resources, including posters, pamphlets and brochures for you!
Download and/or order MyPlate materials for all municipally- or county-owned or operated venues that serve food.

Once you’ve displayed MyPlate in all municipally-or county-owned or operated venues where food is served, please make sure to tell us about your progress by updating your survey. In order to earn bronze, silver and gold medals when associated benchmarks are reached, a site must update their progress using their survey link to update their information. Sites received their survey link in their confirmation sign up email, however if it has been misplaced, please send an email to lmctc@nlc.org to request the link.
