Webinar Recording: Engaging Youth in Your Let's Move! Cities, Towns and Counties Efforts
This webinar was held on September 25, 2014 and provided an overview of how you can effectively engage youth in your Let’s Move! Cities, Towns and Counties efforts. Engaging youth can be a key method to help your city or county assess needs, design solutions, and introduce fresh perspective. In turn, helping youth become civically engaged can provide young people with an opportunity to understand and participate in government processes and policymaking, and build their interest and capacity. This webinar provided attendees with tools and strategies for engaging youth when implementing activities to prevent childhood obesity in their community. Speakers included:
