Webinar Recording: LMCTC Webinar Goal V: Active Kids at Play (Part 2)
This webinar was held Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm EDT and demonstrated how local elected officials through Let’s Move! Cities, Towns and Counties (LMCTC) can launch policies, programs and initiatives that increase access to play and physical activity. This is the second of two webinars on Goal V: Active Kids at Play, and this webinar focused on identifying strategies to encourage physical activity in your community. Strategies discussed included joint use agreements, safe routes to school programs, revitalizing playgrounds, and enhancing active transportation.
