Event Description: – In honor of the 3rd Birthday of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Initiative The City of Orlando will host an event focused on Goal V: Active Kids at Play. On February 27, youth will participate in the Black History Brain Bowl competition which will open with interactive games and fun exercises which stimulates blood flow. Exercise releases chemicals in the brain that sharpen one’s ability to think quickly. When youth exercise they think more clearly, perform better, and it improves their overall morale. This event is designed to exercise both the body and the mind.
