In March 2013, the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), which works with the private sector and PHA honorary chairwoman First Lady Michelle Obama to solve the nation’s childhood obesity crisis, will bring together more than 1,000 leaders from public, private and non-profit organizations, all committed to solving the childhood obesity crisis in America. At the inaugural 2011 summit, PHA successfully fostered an important and productive exchange between industry, non-profits, academics, government officials and thought leaders from across the spectrum. Organizations and individuals who would never agree on strategies and tactics came together around one mission: improving the health of our nation’s youth.
