On Monday, December 17, Leadership for Healthy Communities, a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, will host a webinar on Financing Healthy Eating and Active Living (HEAL) Initiatives.
This webinar will provide an overview of using public and private funding streams, establishing partnerships and using cost-saving strategies to finance and implement healthy eating and active living initiatives. The webinar will focus on building political will and ensuring sustainability for HEAL projects through unique or innovative approaches to advancing healthy eating and active living projects given competing policy priorities and budgetary concerns. Presenters will share examples of projects that address the built environment, physical activity and food access through the described methods.
