Join the National League of Cities and thousands of local elected officials, city staff and community partners in Seattle, WA this November for two exciting conferences–the National Summit on Your City’s Families from Nov. 12-14 and the Congress of Cities and Exposition from Nov. 13-16.
National Summit on Your City’s Families: November 12-14, 2013
Sponsored by the National League of Cities Institute for Youth, Education and Families (YEF), the biennial National Summit on Your City’s Families is the nation’s largest gathering of municipal leaders who are working to improve the lives of children, youth and families in their communities. Hundreds of mayors, city councilmembers, senior municipal staff, and school and community partners will gather in Seattle to take advantage of a unique mix of learning, training and networking opportunities.
The theme of the 2013 Summit is “Leading and Managing for Results.” Summit attendees will gain access to new tools that can help them address local challenges while tracking and sustaining progress over time, and will shape future directions for city efforts nationally by helping to define key benchmarks for action on behalf of children and families.
